Hightops

Remember when everybody thought it was cool to wear mismatched socks as accessories?

I saw a girl at the mall today wearing mismatched hightop sneakers -- one was black, the other florescent pink. I bet her best friend has a matching pair and they wear them to assert their unique style.

I hope this trend catches on -- it would be almost as hot as toe socks and sandals.

I'm sure those trends will start to make a comeback sooner or later!

while i'm sure you were being sarcastic, i am all about the mismatching! in fact, i MAKE and sell mismatched accessories that some people happen to think are very cute.

Your site is cute, missmatched.

I was being just a tad sarcastic, but I have to admit I love red and orange together.

Kids today...
hahahahaha.

I have a friend who wears mismatched socks out of laziness - she can't be bothered to match them up and fold them. Matches only occur first wear around, any time after is a coincidence.

there was this fabulous completely mad 70 year old french woman that used to walk around the place des vosges every day pushing a shopping cart full of books and hats and jewellery.

faded yellow hair in a mad messy chingnon, red lips, permanent cigarette. fab. nuts. talked to herself nonstop. completely oblivious to anyone.

she always wore two different coloured high heeled pumps. blue and yellow, red and blue. white and red.

exact same pump. different colours. she must have bought this shoe in every colour in 1985, and had been workin the look for 20 years. fab.

j'adore well dressed nutcases.
