Justice at work

I just witnessed a woman being cleared of an assault charge, after testifying that she didn't do it.

That would be fine if I hadn't had an encounter with this woman a month ago where she told me she did it.

Neat.

well, the real question is, who'd she beat down, and did they deserve it?

personally, i would never hit a lady.

fortunately, i've got a bunch of very loyal girlfriends with no such compunction.

It was a person in a position of authority, confronting her about breaking the law. He didn't deserve it and she's the town crazy who thinks everyone is trying to kill her. I'll have to hire her lawyer if I ever do something ridiculous.

* Sorry to be so vauge, but it's a pretty distinctive case, so I can't give any more details without breaking this little anonymous cover I like so well.

that's rough to know two sides of the same story, but I'm sure it wont be the last time this happens to you!
